Andrew Chyba Stumbled across them jamming away late one eevening at the How The Lights Gets In festival and was blown away. Brilliant voice, compositions that echo genres from jazz to hip-hop via soul and rock - sometimes all at once! Great lyrics too. Deserves a much wider audience.

pretellier When I listen to Toyface , there is always this echo of music , amusing thoughts from forgotten musical eras . For Toyface has embraced lost styles from Britain's past . Best explained as thus , I have just come out of a Soho Disco addled by too many spiked drinks , someone gives me a lift , and when I awake I find I'm at a derelict pub in Devon . The place is warm and cosy , and young musicians mix early jazz and music hall melodies sharing that forgotten tradition !
